Summer Glau was an American actress who is well-known for her character River Tam in Firefly, the critically-acclaimed TV series. Also, she played Cameron on Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Along with these TV series as well, she's appeared on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck as well as Hawaii Five-0 as well guest-starring in Angel The Unit The Cape Arrow & Sequestered. She has also appeared in films like Serenity and Knights of Badassdom has also produced a variety of TV film and short films, such as Mammoth The Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon Help for The Holidays: Dead End and Inside the Box to name a few. Glau has been awarded numerous honours and awards till date. She was twice included on the list of 100 Sexiest Women in the World by FHM and was once included in Wizard magazine's list of Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim has included her on the magazine's Hot 100. Glau won the SFX Award as Best Actress in Serenity. In her part in Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles she received her the Saturn Award. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was the eldest of three children to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena began her career in music when she was eight year old. Her father formed the band. Selena performed as the lead guitarist of the group, as did her older brothers Abraham junior and sister Suzette playing the drums. Selena acted as the lead vocalist. Selena Y Los Dino was the name of her band and Selena would sing with other siblings at restaurants, bars and wedding events. Selena's siblings and she did not have a good childhood because the band took up so much time. They had a father named Abraham was a great supporter of them by encouraging their determination. Abraham senior was also a musician with the band that was originally called Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos officially started in the year 1981. It was Quintanilla's family's main business, and their primary source of income. Quintanilla persevered, despite having little money in early on. They worked toward becoming a winning family-run band. Selena Y Los Dinos became famous in states of the west in the late 80s. Selena's first success came in the year 1986, when she was awarded awards as Female Vocalist of the Year and as a Performer of the Year at the Tejano music Awards. Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularity and recognition following that. The group was featured on a variety of television shows in Spanish, including El Show De Johnny Canales Always On Sunday and Sabado Gigante.
